Settings: Client Onboarding

The Client Onboarding offers a set of settings to control the behavior of the sign-up form, email notifications, and form elements to enhance the client onboarding process. These settings allow you to tailor the experience based on your business needs and preferences.


Accessing the Settings Page

To access the settings for the Client Onboarding:

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Navigate to WP AdminClient OnboardingSettings.

Available Settings

1. Enable Client Onboarding Form

  • Description: Choose whether to keep new prospects on your website for sign-up or redirect them to the Sweep&Go domain.
  • Options:
    • Enabled: New prospects will stay on your site after entering the zip code, view pricing, and sign up directly. Important: Ensure your website uses a valid SSL certificate (https) and is PCI compliant since new clients will be entering credit card information on your domain.
    • Disabled: New prospects will be redirected to Sweep&Go’s domain to view a free quote and sign up.

2. Privacy Policy

  • If you haven't already, set your website Privacy Policy page at WP AdminSettingsPrivacyChange your Privacy Policy Page

3. Enable Client Onboarding Partial Submission Notification

  • Description: Receive email notifications when there is a new partial submission of the form (for example, if a user starts but doesn't complete the sign-up).
  • Options:
    • Enabled: An email notification will be sent to the WP admin email address whenever there’s a new partial submission.
    • Disabled: No notifications will be sent for partial submissions.

4. Display Select Number of Dogs As

  • Description: Choose the display method for the number of dogs selection.
  • Options:
    • Drop-down List: Recommended for displaying 5 or more dogs.
    • Slider: Recommended for displaying 4 or fewer dogs. ( See Styling for more )

5. Preselected Number of Dogs to Show the Quote For

  • Description: Set a default number of dogs to display on the quote page.
  • Customization: Enter the number of dogs that should be preselected when showing the quote.

6. Display Cleanup Frequency As

  • Description: Choose the display method for the cleanup frequency selection.
  • Options:
    • Drop-down List: Recommended for displaying 5 or more frequencies.
    • Slider: Recommended for displaying 4 or fewer frequencies. ( See Styling for more )

7. Preselected Cleanup Frequency to Show the Quote For

  • Description: Set a default cleanup frequency to be shown to clients when they view their quote.
  • Customization: Enter the frequency that should be preselected when showing the quote.

8. Ask User for a Cell Phone Before Showing a Quote

  • Description: Choose whether to prompt users for their cell phone number before showing the quote.
  • Options:
    • Yes: Users will be asked for their cell phone number before seeing the quote.
    • No: Users will not be asked for a cell phone number.

9. Ask User for an Email Before Showing a Quote

  • Description: Choose whether to prompt users for their email address before showing the quote.
  • Options:
    • Yes: Users will be asked for their email address before seeing the quote.
    • No: Users will not be asked for an email address.

10. Sign Up Button Text

  • Description: Customize the text displayed on the sign-up button.
  • Example: "Sign Up Now," "Get My Quote," etc.
  • Customization: Enter your preferred button text.

11. Call to Action Label

  • Description: Add a callout label at the top of the form to encourage users to sign up.
  • Customization: Leave empty if you don't want anything to show. Otherwise, enter your callout text (e.g., "Get Started Today!").

12. Free Quote Disclaimer

  • Description: Add a disclaimer about the free quote offer on the form.
  • Customization: Leave empty if you don't want anything to show. Otherwise, enter your disclaimer text.

13. Credit Card Disclaimer and Options

  • Description: Add a disclaimer related to credit card information entry on the form.
  • Customization: Leave empty if you don't want anything to show. Otherwise, enter your disclaimer text.

14. Option Not to Pay Right Away (Leave a Message/Ask Question)

  • Description: Allow users the option to indicate they would like to leave a message or ask questions before paying.
  • Options:
    • Yes: A select box will appear with the option "No, I have a question about my service first."
    • No: No option to leave a message or ask questions will be provided.

Important Notes

SSL and PCI Compliance

If you choose to keep users on your site for registration, it is essential that your site is SSL-secured (https) and compliant with PCI standards for secure handling of credit card information.
